I’m one of those people.
But that’s a big tease for this blog post
because
I pretty much forgot to take pictures,
but I do have a few!

I know, absolutely adorable.
But take note.
Look at the all the obvious light and shadows…
a perfect photo to paint.

You don’t see my new 120 piece Sennelier Pastel Set…
that I LOVE…
because the drawing begins with a pastel pencil…
and, yes, this is a large painting, 18″ x 24″
For some paintings,
I grid my photo and my paper to assist me with the drawing.
Now, I’m ready to start applying color.
I started with some dark shades, and
then I completely forgot about my camera.
