The Places We Love, the Best Part’s Inside Art Show exhibited 20 pastel paintings of places in Huntington and Barboursville with an inside perspective.
The opening reception and month long exhibit was at West Edge Factory in the Westmoreland area of Huntington in March 2024. Click to learn more about West Edge Factory which is part of Coalfield Development.
Eighteen original paintings were sold by silent auction and prints of all 20 paintings were sold. A 2025 calendar featuring 12 paintings sold out.
All of the proceeds (minus the percentage that went to West Edge Factory for the reception and to the gift shops that sold prints) was donated to the Huntington Children’s Museum which opened in July 2024.
